Dr. Deborah Healey was the 2019-2020 President of TESOL International Association. She has taught online and face-to-face teacher training courses, primarily focusing on technology in education. She has also taught both ESL and EFL. She has written and presented extensively internationally – in Africa, Asia, Latin America, Europe, the US. Her recent areas of research include digital storytelling, gamification, massive open online courses, and online teaching approaches. Retired after 40 years teaching and promoting technology for ESOL, Vance Stevens now focuses on teacher training. As coordinator of Learning2gether, a podcast series which he founded in 2009, he has hosted over 520 episodes. He founded the CoP Webheads in Action in 2002 and has been involved with coordinating TESOL CALL-IS EVO (Electronic Village Online) since 2003, He has conceived and moderated numerous EVO sessions, most recently as lead moderator of EVO Minecraft MOOC which he initiated in 2015. In 2019, he was awarded the CALL Research Conference Lifetime Achievement Award for that year.
