In this poster infographic, the presenter will compare and contrast different avenues of publishing a textbook. Specifically, the content will focus on the key differences between writing a textbook for a local publishing house vs. following an independent path and publishing the textbook by yourself.

John teaches at several universities in the Kansai area. He also runs a publishing company, Oak Hills Press, which partners with independent authors helping to bring their textbooks to market. John is the author of The English Gym and The English Gym II, written under the pen name, Jon Charles. He has recently created The English Gym Digital Workbook on the Zengengo platform.
